Instructions - NBW Secure Login
Effective July 24, 2007 online banking customers of The National Bank of Waupun are required to enroll in NBW Secure Login, a multifactor authentication service. This free security service works along with your Access ID and Password as an added safety feature to help verify that you are on The National Bank of Waupun’s authentic web site. It will also prove your identity as an authorized ibanc user.
Existing ibanc users will be automatically prompted to enroll for NBW Secure Login. New ibanc users will be prompted to enroll on the second login.
The National Bank of Waupun is making our online banking service, ibanc, even more secure with our new NBW Secure Login process. NBW Secure Login is a new security service that works along with your Access ID and Password as an added safety feature when you access ibanc. This extra "layer" of security will verify that you are logging in to the authentic online banking site of The National Bank of Waupun. It will also prove your identity as an authorized ibanc user.
NBW Secure Login
consists of three components:
1) Image Identification
2) Challenge Questions
3) Optional Registration of a Personal Computer
Each of these plays a critical part in protecting our Internet Banking customers
Getting Started With NBW Secure Login
After entering your User ID, an authentication image will be randomly selected for you and in relation to that image, you will create an authentication phrase, i.e. "Old Coin".
The next step is to select and answer three challenge questions. The last item on the screen is the "Register Computer" option. Only register personal computers that you frequently use and are not available for public use. Future Internet Banking logins will be expedited if you register your personal computer. Click Submit.

From Your Registered Computer
After entering your User ID, your image and authentication phrase will display. If they are correct, then enter your password and click Submit.
If they do not match, DO NOT enter your password. Start over or contact The National Bank of Waupun.
Login With NBW Secure Login From Another Computer
The following are steps in using a public or
non-registered computer:
Step 1:
After entering your Access ID, answer a randomly selected challenge question, select whether or not to
register the computer that you are currently
using and click Submit.
Step 2:
Next, your image and authentication phrase will display. If they are
correct, enter your Password and click Submit. If they do not match, DO
NOT enter your password. Start over or contact The National Bank of Waupun.
Changing Your Image, Authentication Phrase or Challenge Questions
You have the option to customize your image, change your authentication phrase or make any changes in answering the challenge questions at any time.
Over 10,000 images for you to choose from. To select the one that's right for you, just follow these steps.
Log in by entering your regular Access ID.
Your authentication image & pass phrase are displayed.
If the authentication image and pass phrase are correct, enter your password.
Click SUBMIT
Once logged in, Select Options from the main menu.
Select Change Security Data.
Select an image from the library.
Enter a pass phrase for the image.
Click SUBMIT.
That’s it.
The next time you log in, your new authentication image and pass phrase will be displayed.
